Cultural Protocols Show
Thursdays 10am – 11am
Angelina Hurley is joined by Greg Kitson and a host of special guests to discuss First Nations protocols.
Protocols exist and can be classified as standards of behaviour, processes and procedures by which people work and communicate with each other respectfully and appropriately.
First Nations protocols are unique and specific to the cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. An extensive amount of materials already exist both on and off line in this area. However, the next stage for people, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, is engagement, and to have one on one access. To hear first hand the experiences and examples of First Nations protocols in practice. It is essential that these are delivered from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspective.
The Cultural Protocols show is an opportunity for audiences to listen, learn and engage.
