Long Walk Outside Broadcast

03 June 2019

Highlights from 98.9FM Outside broadcast of the Long Walk in Brisbane.  This year Deadly Choices partnered with The Long Walk, AFL Queensland and Brisbane Lions to honour AFL Essendon legend, Michael Long.  In 2004  the former Essendon Bomber walked from Melbourne to Canberra to take a stand against racial abuse and to put Indigenous people back on the national political agenda.   The Long Walk was replicated over the weekend with hundreds walking from Southbank to the Gabba on Saturday.
