Karen Dorante spoke with artists at the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair. Visual artist, Linda Jackson talks about her project with Kuku Yalanji women in Far North Queensland. One of her Kuku Yalanji collaborators is visual artist Lorna Shaun who talks about her interest in the arts. Karen also spoke with Brisbane artist, Laurie Nielsen at the Fair and talked about his role mentoring emerging Indigenous artists in the state. And also with Darcy Turgeon, this year's winner of Brisbane City Council's singing competition for seniors, Senior Superstars. He's encouraging other Murris to enter the competition.
