On Let’s Talk this morning Boe speaks with long time Aboriginal activist Gary Foley, for the first Let’s Talk of the year we talked about Invasion Day on the 26th of January and what is this day means to our people. We also spoke about “The Day Of Mourning” the first protest in Sydney against Australia Day in 1938 and the 150th celebration of Australia, we talked about the “1988 Bicentennial March” in Sydney which is seen as the largest gathering of Aboriginal people in one place in over 60 thousand years and lastly we spoke about the 2018 Invasion Day march in Melbourne which saw over 50 thousand people Aboriginal people and non-Aboriginal people marching together.
