The Murri Hour highlighted Mabo Day and its 27th anniversary, allowing listeners to gain insight about the day from First Nations community elders, movers and shakers, such as Luke Pearson (Gamilaroi, CEO and Founder of Indigenous X), Sam Watson (Wanjaiburrah elder and Activist) and Charles Passi (Meriam elder from Mer (Murray) Island, TSI and son of David Passi, one of the plantiffs in the Mabo case)
