The darling downs in the 1840s was home to Frontier Wars figure Multuggerah a fierce warrior and leader of the Jagera people, In 1843 he organized and was a part of the ambush and battle of one tree hill where the settlers were defeated by Multuggerah and his band of warriors driving them back to flee to Bonifant’s Inn. our guest today on Let’s Talk – History is Fank Uhr historian and author,  in 2019 Frank co-wrote a Book called “The Battle of one Three Hill The Aboriginal Resistance that stunned Queensland” and also a children’s book called “Multuggerah and the Sacred Mountain”.
