In this episode of Let’s Talk, Boe Spearim speaks with Freda Huson from the Wet’suwet’en Nation located in British Columbia on the West Coast of Canada. For more than ten years Freda and other from the Wet’ suwet’ en Nation have set up a blockade called Unist’ot’en camp where they have been defending their lands from the destructive mining industry. Through the actions of protecting land they have inspired and encouraged many native and non -native communities around Canada to show solidarity by blockading roads and train lines.
