On Let’s Talk today Chelsea Bond is talking with some strong black women who have been keeping footy alive in Inala (and some even play the game).

On the show we have Franny Lomas who has been running the club single-handedly for many years, Karla Brady CEO of Inala Wangarra which has helped with the administration of the club and supported its growth and our a young trainee Chelsea Barney. West Inala Junior Rugby League is the heart of the Indigenous community in Inala and has been around for over 60 years. The club have 11 teams this season including a Women’s Open Team, an u15 Girls side and a Masters team.

The ladies are appealing for corporate sponsorship to keep the club alive (and get a fence for the field) and they are giving plenty of shout outs to a whole lot of mob in Inala while they are here.
