For the last 28 days activists and community organizers have stationed themselves at a kangaroo point hotel housing 120 refugees. Organizer Dane De Leon came on Leta Talk Beyond Power and Control to list the demands they have for government. In the second half of the show detainee Farahd came on to thank the dedicated activists and to recognize the First Nations people of Australia.
