On Let’s Talk this morning Boe speaks to First Nation Curator Tina Baum and First Nations Artist Judy Watson about “Defying Empire”, The exhibition features artworks of various media, from painting on canvas and bark, to weaving and sculpture, video, prints, photography, metalwork and glass work. Tina and Judy speak about the importance of making work that shakes the core of non-Indigenous people to get them to reflect of the history and treatment of First Nations people.
