Tanya, also known to many as Aunty Tanya was arrested after falling asleep on a V/Line train to Melbourne in December 2017. She fell and hit her head on a wall in a cell in Castlemaine police station and was left lying on the floor for three hours. 
Victoria’s coroner found an indictable offense may have been committed by police officers, who she said had failed to adequately check on her safety, security, health, and welfare.
