Members of Brisbane’s First Nation’s community along with Deputy Premier Jackie Trad and FederalMP Terri Butler call on the Federal Minister for Indigenous Affairs Ken Wyatt to stop the selling off of Aboriginal assets in Brisbane’s historically black community of West End.

Musgrave Park Hostel is currently at risk of losing it’s space at 196 Boundary Rd if the Minister for Indigenous Affairs Ken Wyatt does not intervene. ATSICHS CEO Jody Currie says this space is not just an institution but an assertion of Indigenous existence. Activist and elder Uncle Les Collins also calls on the Minister to “listen to community before selling off assets for a quick buck.
