Aboriginal Projects Officer
Part Time 14hours/week

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: To promote Aboriginal cultural awareness within Byron Shire by
contributing to the development of Aboriginal policy, services
and programs, and by developing closer links between Council
and the Aboriginal community.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Qualifications and / or substantial experience in Aboriginal or
Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences or related field. 

KNOWLEDGE: 

·  Sound knowledge of local Aboriginal culture, issues and networks.
·  Understanding of local government.
